Bandipora: In a glaring example of administrative negligence, new ration card files have been left unattended for five years in Bandipora’s Tehsil Supply Office, Circle A. Despite repeated complaints from citizens, applications and related documents have been gathering dust, exacerbating the struggles of the local population.
Talking to the media, locals said, “We have been visiting these offices for the past three years, but our ration cards are still not being issued. Our files have been lying here for three years.”
The blatant disregard by the authorities has resulted in significant delays in issuing ration cards, depriving residents of essential rations. This prolonged inaction has sparked widespread outrage and frustration within the community.
Residents are urgently demanding that the authorities address this issue immediately. The call for swift action is clear: expedite the ration card process and ensure that people receive their rightful entitlements without further delay. The authorities must act now to rectify this gross oversight and relieve the suffering of Bandipora’s citizens.
